Room With A View

This multi-media juried exhibit will feature artworks that focus on or explore interiors and exteriors, be it physical, emotional, or any other level.

Jurors: Julie Campbell, artist, owner, Three Sinks Gallery, Webster Groves, MO, and Adam Watkins, Webster Groves-based artist, instructor, East Central College, Union, MO.

Eighty-three artists submitted 144 original artworks for our jurors' consideration for this exhibit. From those entries, Ms. Campbell and Mr. Watkins selected 46 artworks by 36 artists for the exhibition.

MEET THE ARTISTS

On Saturdays during this exhibition, Art Saint Louis is hosting Meet the Artists events wherein featured artists from “Room With A View” will be on-hand in the Gallery to greet visitors and discuss their works in the show. These very casual events are free & open to the public.

ArtDTour

Art Saint Louis will stay open late on Friday, October 1, 2010 from 5:30-10 p.m. to participate in the ArtDTour event. This is a free event when participants shuttle themselves around to the participating locations, or you can reserve a spot on a bus or shuttle by purchasing your seat(s) in advance (buy online: www.artdimensions.org or by phone: ArtDimensions 314/497-5356). Seats on bus: $10/in advance; $15/night of event (After Party not included); Seats on air conditioned shuttles: $20/in advance; $25/night of event (After Party included). Complimentary refreshments. Entry to the After Party (location TBA) is $5 for those without shuttle or bus tickets. Presented concurrently with Room With A View, this exhibit will feature new works by the artists of Thirteen Squared, a St. Louis-based group of women artists. The thirteen artists include: Cynthia Berg, Elizabeth Concannon, Susan Dietz-Schmidt, M.J. Goerke, Jane Isenberg, Ellen Klamon, Ruth Kolker, Nancy Kurten, Emily Long, Marceline Saphian, Ida Steinberg, Harriet Thomas, and Kay Wood.

 


GALLERY & OFFICE HOURS

Art Saint Louis is FREE and open to the public. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday 10AM-5PM and Saturday 10AM-4PM. Closed Sundays, holidays, and between exhibits.

PARKING & TRANSIT

Art Saint Louis is easily accessible by MetroLink. The Convention Center Station is located at 6th Street & Washington Avenue and is mere steps away from our front door. There are several parking garages and lots near Art Saint Louis, for specific locations, download a Downtown Parking Guide here.
